The show bars in Madrid are famous for their flamboyant acts, georgeous Go Go boys and entertaining atmosphere! They get very busy, so grab your seat early!
Black and White Bar (Libertad 34) gets busy from about 1 a.m. and features lively dancing and shows at the weekend. They host the yearly "Hoscars" award ceremony: you'll see the Most Popular Bartender in Madrid, the Best Bar in Madrid, and the Best Drinks in Madrid. Black and White has a mixed crowd, old and young, with lots of cuties -- some for hire.
A Noite (Hortaleza 43) is an elegant bar in the style of a small European nightclub. There's a different performer on each night here. Be warned: they prize themselves on making everyone part of the act!
Pop in for a drink at Why Not? (c. San Bartolomé 7); it opens around 10:30 p.m., but things don't get going until much later at this funky, subterranean bar that features good music and a mixed, friendly crowd. If you've still got the stamina to go dancing.
