Description

Bullfighting is a popular sporting pastime in Spain and Madrid houses the second biggest bullring in the world, this impressive building is formed of red brick and ceramic tiles and It has a seating capacity of 25.000 The season runs from March to October, with a peak during the San Isidro festival during May and June.

Tickets can be acquired at the Las Ventas bullring ticket offices on Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm and 5pm till 8pm and, on the day of the fight from 10am until 7pm.

Ticket prices range from 5 Euros to over a 100 Euros, depending on the seats you want, shaded areas are more expensive than the ones in the sun and it can get quite hot so remember to take water with you to keep hydrated. All of the great bullfighters have competed in this bullring so if you’re not squeamish and fancy doing something different then this may be for you
